A concurrency limit caps how many appointments, tours, or system requests can happen at the same time.
Definition
A concurrency limit is the maximum number of appointments, tasks, or system requests allowed to happen at the same time. In multifamily operations, it often appears in tour scheduling as the number of appointments allowed in one time slot. It can also apply to integrations, where systems may cap simultaneous requests to protect reliability.
Example
A community sets its leasing calendar to allow 2 concurrent in-person tours at 3:00 PM. If two prospects book that slot, the system should stop offering that same slot for another in-person tour unless a separate simultaneous-tour capacity setting allows more.
