Managed Wi-Fi is an internet service model where Wi-Fi is provided across an entire multifamily property instead of residents arranging only their own in-unit service. It can support connectivity in units, common areas, and staff work areas, often with the network operated or monitored by an outside provider.

Example

A maintenance supervisor uses a dedicated staff Wi-Fi network to update work orders while moving between apartments, hallways, and amenities, while residents stay connected on the community network from their unit to the pool area.

Why It Matters?

Managed Wi-Fi matters because reliable connectivity now affects resident experience, staff mobility, smart-property systems, and leasing workflows.
