Definition

A dashboard is a visual screen that brings important metrics and KPIs into one easy-to-read view. In multifamily operations, it may show items like occupancy, revenue, NOI, delinquency, work orders, leasing activity, or maintenance backlog. Dashboards are often updated in real time or near real time so teams can see where attention is needed.

Example

A regional manager opens a portfolio dashboard each morning to compare occupancy, open work orders, delinquency, and unit turns across 12 properties. When one property shows rising work order backlog and slower turns, the manager can follow up with the site team before it affects leasing or resident satisfaction.

Why It Matters?
