Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

MLE Software LLC, doing business as Accolade ("Accolade," "we," "us"), wants everyone who uses our website and our products to be able to do so, including people who use assistive technology or who need an accommodation. We treat accessibility as part of building the product, not as an afterthought, and we keep working on it.

2. What this statement covers

This statement covers the following surfaces that Accolade builds and operates:
  • •
    the website at accoladehq.com and its subdomains ("Site");
  • •
    the Accolade resident app for iOS and Android and the resident web portal;
  • •
    the Accolade technician app;
  • •
    the Accolade leasing-agent app; and
  • •
    the applicant identity-verification flow.
It does not cover websites or documents that a property owner or manager ("Customer") publishes under its own brand, content that Customers or residents upload, or third-party sites we link to. Section 7 explains how we handle those.

3. The standard we work to

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, as our standard for all of the surfaces in Section 2. WCAG 2.2 Level AA includes every WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirement, which is the level that the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations for state and local governments reference, so meeting our standard also supports Customers that are public entities or that receive federal housing assistance.

4. Where we stand today

Every surface in Section 2 conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, based on an assessment completed on October 9, 2026 by Nikith DSouza, Senior Product Designer. Conforming means that the surface meets every Level A and Level AA success criterion within the assessment scope; we list any exception we find. We update this table after each assessment.

5. What we do to get there

  • •
    We include accessibility requirements in our design and engineering standards, and we review new features against them before release.
  • •
    We test with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and JAWS), display zoom and text scaling, and high-contrast settings, using automated tools and manual checks.
  • •
    We ask vendors whose components appear in our products for their accessibility conformance reports and track gaps they disclose.
  • •
    We train the people who design, build, and support our products on accessibility.
  • •
    We offer our mobile apps in English and Spanish and keep core resident and technician tasks working offline.
  • •
    We review this statement and the table in Section 4 at least once a year and after any significant release.

6. Accommodation requests and feedback

If any part of a surface in Section 2 is hard for you to use, or if you need information in another format, tell us and we will help:
  • •
    Email: legal@accoladehq.com with the subject line Accessibility.
  • •
    Phone: (212) 287-7916. If you use a telecommunications relay service, dial 711 and give the operator our number.
  • •
    Mail: 228 Park Ave South, PMB 71905, New York, NY 10003.
We will acknowledge your message within 2 business days and tell you what we will do and when. We can provide information by phone, by email, in large print, or in another accessible format on request, at no charge.
If you are a resident or an applicant at a property that uses Accolade, you may also ask the property owner or manager for a reasonable accommodation, including a different way to apply, pay, or report a problem. Property owners and managers decide accommodation requests under fair housing law. If you make the request to us, we will pass it to the property owner or manager the same business day and help it respond.

7. Content we do not control

Customers publish their own websites, notices, and documents, and residents and vendors upload photographs, messages, and files. We give Customers tools and guidance to make that content accessible, but we do not review it, and this statement does not cover it. If you have trouble with content a Customer published, contact the Customer, and contact us if the problem is in the tool itself.
Our products link to third-party services such as payment processors and map providers. We ask those providers about accessibility when we select them, but their services are outside this statement.

8. Technical details and how we assess

The Site is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The mobile apps are cross-platform applications for iOS and Android. Accessibility depends on these technologies working with your browser, operating system, and assistive technology.
We assess conformance through self-evaluation by our product and engineering teams, automated scanning in our build pipeline, and manual testing with assistive technology. Section 4 shows the date and assessor of the last assessment.

9. About this statement

This statement was prepared on October 9, 2026 and follows the structure recommended by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. We will update it whenever the status in Section 4 changes and at least once a year.
