Award project

An award project step is the point in a procurement workflow when an operations team selects the vendor or contractor that will receive the work. It usually happens after reviewing quotes, ratings, and compliance status, and it may require confirmation before the selected vendor is notified. If the selected vendor is not yet compliant, the team may need to acknowledge that issue and ensure compliance is completed before work begins.

A regional maintenance director reviews three roof-repair quotes for a 200-unit community, checks each contractor’s compliance status, and selects one contractor in the Award project section. The contractor is then notified that they were awarded the work, while the team tracks any remaining compliance items before scheduling the repair.
