Reasonable Accommodation

In multifamily housing, this can include changes such as adjusting a procedure, providing a reserved parking space, or changing how information is provided. A resident with a mobility disability asks for an assigned accessible parking space closer to the building entrance, even though the community normally offers parking on a first-come, first-served basis. The operations team reviews the request, documents the decision, and updates parking records if the accommodation is approved.
